Menopause has a gut problem.

Sleep, mood, metabolism, stress tolerance, and temperature regulation are interconnected through the vagus nerve, which links the gut and brain. As your hormones shift, that connection often weakens, making symptoms feel more pronounced.

Sleep & recovery

Lighter, more interrupted sleep. You can't shut your brain off, and you wake up already tired. This is a nervous system signal.

Energy levels shown with bars: high before and low during an event.

Metabolism & energy

Moving in slow motion. Hitting a wall at 3pm. Your energy responding differently to routines that always worked.

Temperature regulation

Becoming overheated without warning, sweating through clothes, then cold and shivering. This is a nervous system response.

Mood & brain

Sudden anxiety, mood swings, or forgetting words mid-sentence. Does any of this sound familiar to you lately?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Panthea Core?

Panthea Core is a precision probiotic in development for women in the menopause transition. It is designed around the gut-brain-nervous system connection, one of the biological pathways linked to changes in sleep, mood, temperature regulation, energy, and cognition during perimenopause and menopause.

How is Panthea different from other probiotics or supplements?

Most probiotics are made for general gut health. Panthea is being built for a specific life stage: the menopause transition. Our approach is grounded in university research on how the gut microbiome communicates with the brain and nervous system during this transition. It is non-hormonal, mechanism-led, and developed with the scientists behind the core research.

Do I need to be in menopause to use it?

No. Panthea Core is being developed for both perimenopause and menopause. Many women begin noticing changes in sleep, mood, temperature regulation, energy, or focus before their periods stop. Panthea is designed for that broader transition, which can happen as early as a woman's mid-30s, not just the moment menopause is officially reached.

Is Panthea Core hormonal?

No. Panthea Core is being developed as a non-hormonal, natural probiotic. Our approach focuses on the microbiome and its communication with the brain and nervous system.

Why focus on the gut-brain-nervous system connection?

Many menopause-related changes involve systems that help the body regulate sleep, temperature, mood, metabolism, and stress response. The gut microbiome is one way the body communicates with those systems. Panthea is being built around that connection.

When will Panthea Core be available?

Panthea Core is currently in development with expected launch by early next year. Join Early Access to be first in line for launch updates, founding member pricing, and behind-the-scenes science from our team.

Who is behind Panthea?

Panthea was founded by women scientists and operators. Our scientific co-founders include researchers from the University of South Florida and the University of Minnesota whose broader research programs have been supported by over $27M in NIH funding. The science is not borrowed. We built the company around it.
