Dr. Jasenka Zubcevic

Dr. Jasenka Zubcevic is a researcher and scientist specializing in the gut microbiome, nervous system regulation, and cardiovascular health. Her work focuses on how signaling between the gut and brain may influence biological systems tied to stress response, sleep, inflammation, metabolism, and autonomic function. For more than a decade, Dr. Zubcevic has studied the relationship between the microbiome and the autonomic nervous system, with particular interest in how these pathways shift during the menopause transition. Her research helped shape Panthea's scientific foundation: the idea that many of the changes women experience during perimenopause and menopause may be more interconnected than they appear. At Panthea, Dr. Zubcevic leads scientific strategy and microbiome research, helping guide the development of formulations designed around the gut-brain connection and nervous system support during menopause.
